How good is it just having dinner in two!
Just chatting, laughing and smiling, sharing
the blessings of food, prepared simply
and effectively. For, as we become older
and look forward into the future, we
realize that Time is precious! When we
don't seem to see a whole lot of years
ahead. Time is also a commodity. Its price
rises when supply becomes more of a rarity!
In fact that individual time gets mixed up
with eternity. So Now is Now. Every
opportunity missed is a missed eventuality.
Enjoy the company; raise the glass for another
cheer, another hoorah! We are still here,
we're like soldiers waiting to do battle.
The waiting can be heavy or it can be
the greatest joy because the new dawn
of battle is tomorrow... and tomorrow
we don't know we're still here! So be merry,
be good, share moments of tranquility at sunset,
