Then someone comes along and, just like
me, challenges the way things should be.
For on this journey, I have begun to revisit
all my history. To then let it all go, let it all
fade away in favour of the pleasures of Now
and what is on offer to have and enjoy.
Admire what you see: butterflies in a park,
birds flying above, the new facilities, local flora
and fauna. This latter sometimes are a pest
in their own neighbourhood. Don't comment
on the negatives, just look at the positive!
Become aware of this new philosophy. Bring joy
to you, love what you decide for each new day,
remain flexible and let the weather, the climate
influence your daily needs, passions and activity.
Put yourself first, then friends and family. Let
the rest of the environment be there for your
pleasure, in a hedonist world, among the followers
of spirituality. These claim to bring on new energy,
renewed force into our being, reclaim faith
in the universe, so that we find pleasure and love.
Fly like Peter Pan in joyful optimism and fun!
Let it be so because now I have reached my Third
Age when the world's trickery is here for me to see!
Yet I must still continue to deal with it! But now it's
different for me! My life's baton I pass onto Thee!
