Now

On my own and in the Now without your company

seems like another world, another time! Your

absence is present, painfully. Yet I know that you're

OK with friends and family. Working at my chosen

activity, with the wind blowing slowly and my boat

rowing steadily. It all seems so peacefully as the hot

wind blows and your text arrives unexpectedly!

You are Bar hopping, having a great time with your

visitors. C'est la vie. Each one of us has a life's journey

on which we travel happily, if in good company.

But what do I do now that I miss you? Then realize that

a break, a little distance, time to ourselves are all good

indicators of our freedom. And liberty, our freedom,

makes us grow in self confidence. In this I still have

some road to travel. You have been the instrument

of change and reflection on what life is truly all about.

Your spirituality has impacted on your being and it

shines bright for me! Let's say that this interlude

between our meetings are healthy. Let them be

a positive influence on our strong friendship. Going

forward seems now easy, even when you are away

from me! A certain peace invades within to savour life

as it should be. So even Now that I am on my own, I look

outside towards the sky and know that out there, there is

someone special, someone dear, someone to whom

I can say: 'buona notte, amore mio."
